This year I wanted a simple look for the coffee table to keep up all winter. I have realized throughout the years that I hate having Christmas decor up for only one month. So this year, I have been trying to find ways to style my home that will last through the winter months. Let me show you what I did for our coffee table.

I like to incorporate seasonal colors and different textures to embrace the look and feel of the season. I based this winter look on this one brass vase I fell in love with the second I saw it at Target! I added cedar stems from Hobby Lobby to complete this simple yet beautiful look.
Next, I added this decorative terracotta bowl with pinecones to mix some textures. Can I tell you a secret? The best time to splurge on home decor is when it can be used all year round. This bowl was a little pricey, but you can use this all year round by replacing what you put in it.
When styling any space, you want to group items that vary in height. Instead of placing a candle in front of the vase, I stacked two books, a candle, and a candle wick trimmer. I also like to group my items into groups of three. So when you look at this whole design, you’ll see I grouped everything in groups of three, including the overall look (floral arraignment, stacked books, decorative bowl).
