I am a mom of three, and I have found that clutter and disorganization drive me crazy. But, unfortunately, when I'm going crazy, so are the kids, and that's just not a good combo.
I'll show you how to organize your home, making it functional without sacrificing style. And don't worry; I'm not blowing money, so we will stick to a budget every step.
After our first baby, I decided to leave my job in the legal system and become a SAHM. With all the time spent within the walls of our home, I felt the urge to create something new in every corner. Growing up, I was constantly flipping furniture with the mindset that "You can do anything yourself if you just try," I wanted to do more. So I went to a local home improvement store, bought a miter saw, and created Rustic Rose Homestead, now Tapia Home Co., A creative outlet to share my love of crafting, building, and DIYing.
So when we decided to design and build our dream home, I opted out of all the extras. We have a blank slate, and I am so excited to have you along for the many projects I have planned. I have always found beauty in the things you create with two hands. Sharing my self-taught talents has become a passion.
We moved around a lot when I was younger. I spent more of my younger years in Wyoming. We’d move to Texas or Florida, then back to Wyoming. Then, during my senior year, we moved back to Texas, where I stayed.
Although I haven’t played in years, I started playing the bass guitar in the 7th grade. In high school and college, I played in our Youth church band.
After I got my bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, I started working as a Probation Officer. I worked my way up into specialized caseloads while working on my Masters. I graduated with my Masters's Degree and started working from home shortly after.
